Anadolu Sel&#xE7;uklu sultanlar&#x131; da, B&#xFC;y&#xFC;k Sel&#xE7;uklulardan devrald&#x131;klar&#x131; bu gelene&#x11F;e uyarak civardaki gerek M&#xFC;sl&#xFC;man, gerekse Hristiyan &#xFC;lkelerin saraylar&#x131;na mensup kad&#x131;nlarla evlilikler yapm&#x131;&#x15F;lard&#x131;r. Bu ara&#x15F;t&#x131;rmada, s&#xF6;z&#xFC; edilen sultanlar&#x131;n -M&#xFC;sl&#xFC;man hatunlar d&#x131;&#x15F;&#x131;nda- Bizans, G&#xFC;rc&#xFC; ve Ha&#xE7;l&#x131; prensesleriyle, ayr&#x131;ca Anadolu'da ya&#x15F;ayan gayrim&#xFC;slim tebaadan baz&#x131; Hristiyan kad&#x131;nlarla olan evlilikleri &#xFC;zerinde durulmaktad&#x131;r. Bir ka&#xE7;&#x131; d&#x131;&#x15F;&#x131;nda tamamen siyas&#xEE; maksatlara ba&#x11F;l&#x131; olarak ger&#xE7;ekle&#x15F;en bu evlilikler, sultanlar&#x131;n hem tahta ge&#xE7;melerinde, hem de Bizans ve Ha&#xE7;l&#x131; tehditlerinin yer yer bertaraf edilmesinde &#xF6;nemli avantajlar sa&#x11F;lam&#x131;&#x15F;t&#x131;r. In Turkish states, the marriages of the dynastic members with the women from the neighboring courts became a tradition since the pre-Islamic eras. The Anatolian Seljukid sultans, too, followed this tradition that they took from the Great Seljukid and married with the princesses of both Muslim and Christian courts. This research focuses on the marriages of these sultans with the Byzantine, Georgian and Crusader princesses as well as with the Christian women living in Anatolia but exclude their marriages with Muslim women. With few exceptions, all of these marriages were made out of political concerns and contributed to the enthronement of sultans and sometimes to ward off the Byzantine and Crusader threats. Modern man believes that their life should be completely under their control and anything that does not fall in this category is automatically ignored by them. This autonomy should also last until the very end of one's life. Scientific and technological developments in medicine in the treatment of severe patients have made significant advances in the recent years, enabling life prolongation also in the cases when it might be contrary to the patient's and relatives' will and the doctor's opinion. At times when the lives of unconscious incurable patients are sustained and prolonged through complete dependence on machines, the situation is nothing but a meaningless prolongation of agony. When the individual is fully conscious, they make a statement in their last will to respect their autonomy at the end of their lives also in the cases when they are unconscious or are unable to express their wishes rationally, for example when suffering from such conditions as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. This paper aims to address the issue of patient's advance decision, which is a fairly new concept to Turkish medical environment. Ebubekir H&#xE2;zim Tepeyran had educated in Ni&#x11F;de was one of the most important statesman and litterateur. He was born in Ni&#x11F;de and died in 5 June 1947. He was governor of Musul, Ba&#x11F;dat, Hicaz, Beyrut and H&#xFC;davendigar. He was mayor of &#x130;stanbul in March-July 1909 and he was also Chamberlain internist in 1920.Mr. Ebubekir H&#xE2;zim's work, in 1944 the first edition of his memories was published that told about the experiences of school in his primary school is based on our study. District schools were primary schools which were established for following Seljuklu and other &#x130;slamic states' tradition in Ottoman State. These schools were called mahalle school or s&#x131;byan school by public and they were operated through foundations. They were in every districts and villages. They were generally built next to the mosque.Local schools were described negatively in Ebubekir H&#xE2;zim Bey' memories. They were neglected through Euorapan education system beginning with reform, they were effort to keep alive a tradition at the second half of the XIX. century. Like all institution which completed its task, they waited death by leaving them alone. An understanding of Westernization brought, like all institutions belongs to old times, local schools were seen of evil and negativity as a reason, as a nightmare for the new generations.In Mr. Ebubekir H&#xE2;zim's memories and other people' remembrances of a flogging, and held with the concept of local schools of education is lagging behind the age, seem to have another function in maintaining the tradition. Therefore, expertise is required to design tourism buildings and attractions that are compatible with the natural ecosystem. Ecotourism is a concept describing tourism that is developed on the basis of ecological criteria. In this study, the ecotourism opportunities in the Koprulu Canyon Sanctuary in Antalya were examined. After the Divanu Lughati't-T&#xFC;rk of Ka&#x15F;garl&#x131; operation of the first comparative dictionary is studying of Radloff Op&#x131;t Slovarya Tyurkskih Nare&#xE7;iy (Trial of Turkish Dialects Dictionary). The first comparative dictionary work done in Turkey H&#xFC;seyin Kaz&#x131;m Kadri, at 1927 the first two volumes of the work of Turk Lugati and in the other two volumes published in the 1940s. Although very essential for Turkey and Turkish world there has not been a comparative dictionary study in Turkey until 1991.At 1991 the disintegration of the Soviet Union and after the establishment of the new Turkish republics a Comparative Dictionary of Turkish Dialects hastily prepared by the Ministry of Culture. There are lots of missing from preparation technique of this dictionary to content. Mankind preferred naming, using and defining plants because of living together with nature. Plants which were the closest living creature to the human after their species had been renamed in different ways throughout history. While these namings were being done, names of the organs, animal names, character names, numbers, names of various diseases had been used. Benefiting from plants grown/brought geography or ethnic factors is another useful way in naming of plants. In this study, discourse analysis as an applied linguistics area and a qualitative research method is rapidly evolving area from the second half of the twentieth century in global scientific literature is introduced and commonly used three applications of the method will be described. In this article, the structuring of mukhtarship organization in Ni&#x11F;de, which began to be established during the period of Mahmud II, first in Istanbul and then in downstate, will be discussed. Although innovations in various fields had been attempted in the Ottoman Empire as from the XVIIth century, they were not successful. In the XVIIIth century, the innovations attempted during the period of Selim III were mainly in military and financial fields. However, it was soon recognised that the problems would not be solved with such regularizations and further innovations were made in the field of administration. Sultan Mahmud II attempted to make administrative innovations after he removed the Guild of Janissaries in 1826, and in this way he aimed to reinforce the central authority. One of the attempts made by Mahmud II in order to reinforce the central authority was to establish the mukhtarship organization.The mukhtarship organization became widespread with declaration of the Reforms. In this study, it is aimed to determine the impact of violence against women and of thoughts and practices based on the gendered and sexual discrimination on negativeness and inhibition for women. In this regard, the manner in which conflict, functionalist and feminist theories handle the issue has been put forward. Based on the theoretical framework, 248 questionnaires and interviews in 23 districts of Ni&#x11F;de city center were conducted between 10th and 25th of March 2012. Then after, the evaluation in light of the collected qualitative and quantitative data has been undertaken. Migrations from Turkey to abroad for half a century have proceeded in the recent times by undergoing important changes. Moreover, it has been observed that there exist various types and ways of foreigner migration from abroad to Turkey which began from 1980 onwards and became clarified in the 2000s. This study is aimed to focus on who migrated from abroad to Turkey and where they migrated later on the basis of the 2000 General Census.As in the internal migration, the external migration tends towards the western part of the country, particularly big cities. Thusly, % 44 of the migration occurred in big cities; % 33.4 in the centre of towns and provinces; the rest % 22.5 in the countryside. The fact that % 51.9 of immigrants were born in Turkey gives rise to "comeback migration" thought with regard to the external migration. Moreover, that % 77.7 of them are Turkish nationals supports this judgment. On the other hand, the foreign nationals whose number has reached to 50.251 (% 21.5) are non-negligible. This study aims at the use of photography as a teaching technique in geography education. The subject of the study was the demographical and functional changes of the cities taught in the human systems unit of the 11th year geography course. The study was carried out on 32 students studying in the high school located in Yenimahalle town of Ankara province in the fall term of 2012-2013 academic year. The research technique employed was the comparative document analysis and excursion and observation method .The data was evaluated by the use of quantitative data analysis. It was observed that the students were able to photograph the distorted urbanization, city planning, and transportation and settlement problems by the use of photography. This study is carried out to determine the metaphors of 9th graders they have towards the concept "earthquake". 194 9th graders in Erci&#x15F;, Van took part in the study in the academic year of 2012-2013. The data of the study is collected by students' completing the sentence "earthquake is like &#x2026;, because &#x2026;." and from the pictures and caricatures drawn by the students about their metaphors for the concept earthquake. The data is analyzed with content analysis method. According to the results of the study, the students produced 72 metaphors about the concept of "earthquake". These metaphors were categorized into 6 different conceptual groups according to their common features. Our traditional carpets are produced according to our needs. Their weaving technique, patterns and textile materials are shaped in parallel with our cultural structure. From past to the present, through the studies on the first examples of the carpets, we can observe the reflection of Turkish society's sociological, psychological, economic, geographic and cultural change and development. That is why the traditional hand rugs are as important as an archive document. The corruption of the examples of this archive will cause the incorrect cultural heritage to reach the next generations. The Iranian Constitutional movement, started in 1906 is considered to be one of the most important events in the recent history of Iran. The First Constitution, signed and put into force on December 31st 1906 by Mozaffar Al Din Shah (1896-1907) was abolished due to the bombing of  the Majlis e Melli (National Assembly) on June 23rd 1908 by his son Mohammad Ali Shah (1907-1908). Thereupon, Azeri Turks who had a major role in the proclamation of the First Constitution started a struggle against Mohammed Ali Shah in Azerbaijan where they are in majority. The struggle started on July 25th 1908 between the Mujahideen of Tabriz and the armies of Muhammed Ali Shah and lasted 11 months. During this time, despite all the efforts of  Mohammed Ali Shah Tabriz was besieged with the support of the Russians and mujahideens led by Sattar and Bagher Khans withdrew. Article, field study within the borders of Lebanon, aims to share general information on issues to be spoken Turkish. Today, as much as 30000 citizens living in Lebanon for nearly 12000 to be registered. Most of these countries are settled in 1940 after the Turks to come to work. However, the Turks settled in Lebanon after 1940, as well as the more they leave any kind of Arabic language features that reflect the geography of this work is not subject to due. In this study, the number 13200 Turkmen living in this region in the 13th century, which approximate number 9000, 19th living within the borders of Lebanon since the end of the century the Turks and their language is focused on the muhajir of Crete. Turkish Arabic code to be very little in common other than being lived copying the two ethnic groups and languages, should be evaluated in this study suggest that under separate headings. The field of our work in the year 2013 in accordance with the data obtained from the first one into the dialect characteristics of Turkish spoken in Lebanon, and the general features of the language used in the submitted article. Thus, in order to map received Turkish Language in Lebanon, based on the contribution to the field study aimed to achieve. Letters of Busbecq who served as ambassador of Habsburg Empire during reign of Suleyman the Magnificent and pictures of S&#xFC;leymanname manuscript written by Arifi will be analyzed comparatively. Busbecq letters report the reign of Kanuni during 1555-1562. S&#xFC;leymanname narrates event during 1520-1555. Ayr&#x131;ca Yunan s&#xF6;ylencelerindeki Lamia ile Medea fig&#xFC;rleri de s&#xF6;ylencelerde yer ald&#x131;&#x11F;&#x131; bi&#xE7;imiyle ele al&#x131;nm&#x131;&#x15F; ve ger&#xE7;eklikleriyle kar&#x15F;&#x131;la&#x15F;t&#x131;r&#x131;lm&#x131;&#x15F;t&#x131;r. &#x130;nceledi&#x11F;imiz s&#xF6;ylencelerden yola &#xE7;&#x131;karak kad&#x131;nlar&#x131;n konumunun ya&#x15F;am&#x131;n her alan&#x131;nda oldu&#x11F;u gibi mitlerde de fazla farkl&#x131;l&#x131;k g&#xF6;stermedi&#x11F;i tespit edilmi&#x15F;tir.&#xD;
Myths have remained popular in every field of art since ancient times till today. Lilith, who is mentioned as the first wife of Adam in Sumerian mythology, revolts against patriarchal structure, but is labelled as child killer in following generations and thus punished by patriarchal culture. Frequently encountered in literary works, Lilith is regarded as the first woman who started the war between woman and men by the feminists. Lamia and Medea, the two mythological figures who share the some destiny with Lilith have also been accused of child killing and punished by the patriarchal society because of their revolt against patriarchal structure.It is examined in this study how the norms as imposed to women by the patriarchal structure and those who challenge these norms are shaped and how these are reflected onto myths. The traces of the revolt by Lilith, who is considered to be first women to start the gender conflict between men and women, are followed in the study of this myth. In addition, the figures of Lamia and Medea in Greek myths are mentioned as they are found in the myths and their truthfulness is explored. Turkish is a rich language in terms of presence of vowels. There are eight vowels that originated from the relationship between palatalit&#xE9;, aperture and labialit&#xE9; in terms of their characteristics in general Turkish. These are /a/, /e/, /&#x131;/, /i/, /o, /&#xF6;/, /u/ and /&#xFC;/. In general, /a/, /i/ and /u/ are considered as cardinal vowels in Turkish. According to this viewpoint, Turkish has a triple vowel system consisting of /a/, /i/ and /u/ in the periods when Turkish could not be pursued in writing. /e/, /&#x131;/, /o, /&#xF6;/ and /&#xFC;/ vowels have also originated from these three cardinal vowels. Thus, our study is limited to a/, /i/ and /u/ vowels. Periodical restriction of the study is Historical Turkish Dialects K&#xF6;kt&#xFC;rk, Uighur, Karakhanid, Khorezmian, Kipchak, Chagatai and Old Oghuz Turkic languages)In this study we are aiming to determine the following;1. Sources of /a/, /i/ and /u/ vowels in the historical Turkish dialects,2. Presence of /a/, /i/ and /u/ vowels in the first syllables and other than first syllables,3.
